LB#3 The Roles of Educational Technology in Learning



           Technology can play a traditional role as delivery vehicles for instructional lesson or in a constructivist way as partners in the learning process to the learner learns from the technology and the technology serves as a learner.

            From the constructivist point of view, educational technology serves as a learning tools those learners learn with. According to Jonassin there are many roles of technology in learning .Technology as tools to support knowledge construction, as information vehicles for exploring knowledge to support learning  by constructing, as context to support learning by doing, as a social medium to support learning by the conversing technology as intellectual partners to support learning by reflecting.

            So with internet, technology has facilitated communication among people. From the constructivist perspective, educational technology is a meaningful leaving tool by sewing as a learning partner.
