Another useful visual symbol that can bring novelty to our teaching is the cartoon. Cartoon tells its story metaphorically. The perfect cartoons needs no caption.

In teaching visual symbols it takes time in preparing and learning. Specially when you use the charts, graphs, maps and globes. The collection, preparation and use of these various visual symbols depends to a great extent on our own resourcefulness and creativity. They may be use in different ways and in different phases of the lesson depending in your purpose.

These contrived experiences are designed to stimulate to real – life situations. We used simulations and games to make our classes interactive & to develop the discussion making skills and knowledge construction skills of our students.
